Privacy Policy

Our Commitment

At Serenity Insurance, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your nonpublic personal information is our fundamental responsibility. The following information explains how your information is collected, used and shared while doing business with us.

Information We Collect

The information we collect is used to provide policy quotes upon request, administer insurance policies, and address your questions or concerns.  This includes information you provide us when you apply for a policy, either online, by phone, or in person. This may include information such as your name, address, phone number, email, vehicle information, driver’s license number, driving history, Social Security number, gender, educational background, date of birth, and marital status. It also includes information from your policy activity, payment history, billing information, and claim history.

Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from consumer reporting agencies that provide us with motor vehicle reports, claim reports, and/or credit information where permitted by law. When you ask for a policy quote, we may obtain credit information if permitted by applicable state law. Our agents do not have access to the details of your credit information. Other companies who view your credit report will not see the inquiry from Serenity Insurance, and our inquiry will not affect your credit score or credit rating. If you purchase a policy with Serenity Insurance, we will confirm your motor vehicle record and claims history. As permitted by law, we may also review your motor vehicle record, claims history, and/or credit information in order to renew your policy.

With the information gathered we are better able to create a customized website for you. The log file information does not contain personally identifiable information such as your name, address, phone, etc. and is used only in the aggregate.

Information We Disclose

We do not sell personal information about our current, former, or potential customers or their accounts for any purpose. Personal information will only be disclosed as permitted or required by law.

We share personal information to process and service your policy; to settle claims; with your consent; or as directed by you. We may also disclose personal information with persons or organizations that we have determined need the information to perform a business, professional, or insurance function for us. These include businesses that help us with administrative functions, third parties that perform marketing services on our behalf, or to other financial institutions with whom we have a joint marketing agreement.
